Dear Heavenly Father,
Please help me to be more forgiving in your eyes, more understanding in my heart, more appreciative in my soul and please help me to find a deeper faith and devotion to your word as I can always improve in your eyes.
And Dear Heavenly Father, please forgive me my sins and help me to find the light of your day and the path you created for me to be guided by.
And Dear Heavenly Father, please let me understand why this has to happen if it is your will, and please help me to find the patience and the will to persevere should it not.

Please forgive me my sins and allow me once again to serve you, and to know what you want me to do as I live for you and your service.
Dear Father, please forgive the sins of the leaders of this fine city, the employees, the council members and the Interim Mayor,
Dear Father, please have mercy on those in the city that find less than honorable ways to obtain their benefits and their possessions,
and Dear Father, please accept me as I am, with sin and imperfection, so that I may find a better way to live, grow and prosper in your light and body.
